If you are exercising to burn fat your heart rate during exercise is very important. You may have head about exercising in the fat burning phase to achieve better weight loss results.
But, myself I have achieved far better results working out on the cardio setting. When doing cardio your heart rate is higher and your body burns and use more fat for energy.
In fact studies suggest you use approximately 200-220 calories per 10 minutes when doing cardio exercises.
So, if you are exercising to lose weight you may be better off selecting the cardio setting when working out in the gym.
